Kamal Institute of Higher Education and Advance Technology (KIHEAT) offers the B.Com. (Hons.) program, a dynamic and industry-relevant undergraduate degree affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). The program is structured as per the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, offering multiple entry and exit options for flexibility in learning.
Designed to cultivate analytical, financial, and managerial expertise, this program equips students with the knowledge and skills required for success in the evolving business landscape. This program is meticulously designed to equip students with fundamental and advanced knowledge of commerce, business operations, and financial management, preparing them for diverse career opportunities in finance, accounting, banking, taxation, and corporate management.

The curriculum fosters a strong conceptual understanding of commerce, technological adaptability, and research-oriented learning, ensuring students excel in both corporate roles and entrepreneurial ventures.

The B. Com (Hons.) program is structured into six/eight semesters with a balanced mix of core commerce subjects, skill-based courses, industry exposure, and research components:

  • First four semesters: Fundamental courses in Accounting, Economics, Business Law, Finance, and Marketing, alongside skill-enhancement subjects.

  • Fifth semester: Industry Internship to provide practical experience in corporate finance, banking, or taxation.

  • Sixth semester: Capstone Project, where students conduct business analysis or market research.

  • Seventh & Eighth Semesters (Honours with Research): Specialized research in commerce, financial markets, or entrepreneurship leading to an Honours with Research degree.

This blend of academic rigor, industry exposure, and research-oriented learning ensures that students develop expertise in business decision-making, financial strategy, and analytical reasoning.

Program Structure and Course Distribution

Student Intake and Reservation of Seats

The B.Com. (Hons.) program is offered in two shifts:

Morning Shift – 30 seats

As per the existing policies, 10% of the total seats are allocated under the Management Quota.
Additionally, reservations for specific categories are implemented in accordance with the guidelines set by the Government of NCT of Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to the B. Com (Hons.), candidates must:

  • Have passed 10+2 (12th grade) from CBSE or an equivalent board.
  • Secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • Must have passed five subjects (one language + four electives).

Admission Criteria

Admission shall be on the basis of the merit of the CET. The vacant seats after exhausting the merit list of CET will be filled through the merit list of CUET.
