Kamal Institute of Higher Education And Advance Technology, Mohan Garden celebrated “surgical strike” day on Friday 28th September, 2018 to mark the second anniversary of the Indian Army’s strike at terror pods across the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The educational institutions were advised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to observe the day. Following the guidelines KIHEAT observed the second anniversary of Surgical Strike, the Indian Army’s strike against terrorism, commemorating the great courage and sacrifice of the armed forces. On September 29 in 2016, the Indian army carried out surgical strike on seven terrorist launch-pads across the LOC as a response to its attack on its base in Uri.

Dr. Madan Mohan Maheshwari, Director Kamal Institute of Higher Education And Advance Technology, addressed a gathering of student. He explained the importance of Surgical Strike day to the students. He asked students to be ready for making any sacrifice for the betterment of the nation. He said that it’s a day to showcase the courage, valour and sacrifice of Armed Forces.

Deepak Adhana, Assistant Professor sensitized the students on the meaning of Surgical Strike. He began his speech with the words “God came in Uniform to save us”. Mr. Adhana also paid tribute to the Kargil martyrs with Hindi Poetry and Patriotic Shayri. He said that the day gave the institute an opportunity to pay tribute to their security forces. ‘It’s not just to about the surgical strike day. It is an opportunity to recognize the valour and sacrifices of our soldiers. He said whichever field you join after your education, service and sacrifice for the nation should be the prime concern. He also gave the example of brave soldier of Indian Army and asks students to read their story of courage. He urged students to join Army to serve the nation.

A short video film on Surgical Strike was also shown during this program.

Patriotic Poems event was also organised at the end in which students shown their creativity by delivering messages for the Indian Army Jawans. Dr. Madan Mohan Maheshwari, Director KIHEAT presented certificates to the winners of poetry event and also to the participated students. Dubbed as 'Parakram Parv' the event culminated with the Slogans like Bharat Mata ki Jai and Vande Mataram. It was a remarkable experience for all involved.

Kamal Institute of Higher Education and Advance Technology organized a seminar on ICT Development Project for the students of BBA, BCA and B.Com on 25th September 2018.

The speakers of this seminar were Ms. Simranjeet Kaur and Ms. Megha. They were welcomed by Director, Dr M.M Maheshwari and Registrar, Mr. Anudeep Arora.

The speakers informed students about their company "Corporate Infocom Private Limited", which is an exclusive partner of GoDaddy. They informed the students about career opportunities in IT Sector. They talked about "Digital Marketing and Blogging Industry". They motivated students to convert their "Passion into Profession" and "Earning while Learning". They said that there is talent in everybody and all they need is a platform and their company is the right platform for such talent. They further explained about Domain Name, Web Hosting, COIPL (the online courses offered by their company), Control Panel, Search Engine Optimiser (SEO), Google Adsense, DAVSY (How to increase the viewers of a website).

They inspired the students to promote themselves not others and represent themselves by exploring and experimenting. She made the students aware about different jobs in Finance, Marketing, and Human Resource which are in great demand in the IT Sector.

Session was very interactive, students learnt a lot by this and this will surely help them in their future.

Kamal institute of higher education and advance technology organized a workshop on multimedia communication (presented by MAAC) for the students of BBA, BCA and B.Com on 20th September 2018.

The speakers of this workshop were Mr.Nishant, Mr. Richit Mathur and Mr. Abhineet Kumar they were welcomed by Director, Dr M.M Maheshwari and Registrar, Mr. Anudeep Arora. The speakers informed students about their Institiute "MAAC". They informed the students about career opportunities in 3D Animation, Multimedia & Design, Gaming Design and Broadcast Design.They motivated students to convert their "Passion into Profession".They further explained about importance of multimedia as it can be anything and everything which you watch and listen in a form of text, photograph, audio, video and much more. In most of the industries, whether hospitality, aviation, banking, insurance, science and technology etc, it is being used in almost every field, either for publishing something or for some other purpose. They showed some video clips that how animation is playing vital role in film making and motivated the students to pursue their career in this area.

At the end of the session they organized a poster making competition for the students in which students prepared front page of weekly magazines and the theme was to promote your college and winner (SHANTANU SINGH) was awarded with smart phone.
